Thai Prince Wants Wife’s Family Stripped of Royal Name: Tied to Gambling Scheme

Thailand Crown Prince Vajiralongkorn has requested that the Thai government strip his wife’s family of their royal name in the wake of a series of corruption arrests tied to gambling and smuggling rackets.

Princess Srirasmi Akharaphongpreecha is Crown Prince Vajiralongkorn's third wife, and the pair married in 2001.  They are expected to divorce.

The princess’s uncle, a senior police general, was arrested over accusations of amassing vast wealth through the smuggling and gambling rings.

Kansas Man Who Robbed Bellagio Found to be Unfit for Trial

LAS VEGAS (Associated Press) - A 34-year-old Kansas felon has been declared psychologically unfit for trial in federal court in the July armed robberies of a Las Vegas Strip casino cashier and a bank.

Trial was canceled Friday for Scott Alan Carmitchel on charges of interference with commerce by robbery at the Bellagio and armed robbery of a City National Bank branch.

Americas Cardroom to Implement Bitcoin Withdrawals Next Week

Americas Cardroom CEO Phil Nagy confirmed Wednesday evening that the popular online poker room plans to roll out its Bitcoin withdrawal platform some time during the first week of December (an exact date was not immediately known).

Victoria Coren Leaves PokerStars: Cites Move Away From Poker

Female poker pro Victoria Coren-Mitchell has announced she is leaving Team PokerStars.  Her reason: They are adding an online casino and that goes against her beliefs.

“PokerStars.com announced that it will be rolling out online casino gaming alongside its internet poker,” Coren-Mitchell wrote on her blog.  “As a result, on Saturday morning, I terminated my endorsement contract with them.

Prosecutors claim that five of the six individuals have been charged with assault.

DraftKings Outage Could Not Have Come at Worst Possible Time: Refunds Promised

One of the world’s largest daily fantasy sports sites, Draftkings.com, experienced a disastrous power outage on Sunday during Week 12 of the NFL.  The company is expected to lose hundreds of thousands of dollars as a result.  Worse still, Draftkings.com advertised throughout Sunday’s NFL games.

The issues were deemed as “Connectivity Issues” apparently starting just minutes before the early afternoon games.

Judge Rules on New Jersey Sports Betting and the Verdict is…..Leagues Win

U.S. District Court Michael Shipp ruled on whether New Jersey’s biggest racetrack, Monmouth Park, may begin taking bets on sports and they will not be able to, at least not for the foreseeable future.
