IPT7 Malta Day 1A Gets Under Way
Half a year ago, the EPT made its debut here on the beautiful island of Malta. Now, the tour is back at Portomaso Casino as the PokerStars.com EPT 12 Malta Poker Festival kicked off today at noon (local time).
It's the €1,100 IPT Malta Main Event which is getting the action under way. Last season, Greek pro Georgios "ZISIMO7" Zisimopoulos triumphed here in the record-breaking 1,285-strong tournament, taking home €142,205 after a five-way deal. Four PokerStars Execs Ordered Terminated for New Jersey Licensing
Amaya Gaming, the parent company of PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker, have been granted permission to operate in the state of New Jersey but, before they can do so, Amaya must fire four executives deemed “unfit’ by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE).
On Friday, the DGE released a report of its investigation of Amaya’s $four.9b acquisition of the PokerStars and Complete Tilt, coming to the conclusion that the four executives could no longer serve on the company’s board.

The clocks might not change until the first Sunday in November, but Americas Cardroom is making its own time change every Sunday in October.
The US-facing online poker site today announced that the Million Dollar Sunday is getting pushed back by 2 hours to 5:00pm ET. The Sunday Special, the online poker room’s $115,000 guaranteed poker tournament, is also moving up by an hour, from 4pm to 3:00pm ET.
